Programs That Meet People Where They Are

Four programs. One commitment: walk alongside our neighbors from crisis toward stability, for as long as it takes.

Program One

Community Pantry Network

Seven locations. Six days a week. No questions asked.

Hunger doesn't wait for business hours. Our seven pantry locations across the county are open Monday through Saturday, serving anyone who walks in. No income verification, no paperwork, no waiting lists. Last year, we distributed 1.2 million pounds of food to over 8,400 households.

Every pantry stocks fresh produce, proteins, dairy, and staples — because nutritious food isn't a luxury. Our partnership with regional farms means seasonal produce shows up the same day it's harvested. Wednesday mornings, you can smell the tomatoes from the parking lot.

  • 03 Monthly recipe cards and cooking demonstrations

Program Two

Youth Futures Mentorship

340 young people. 340 adults who show up every week.

Youth Futures pairs 14-to-21-year-olds with trained adult mentors for a minimum one-year commitment. Pairs meet weekly — sometimes at the library, sometimes over pizza, sometimes just walking and talking. The goal isn't to fix anything. It's to make sure every young person has at least one reliable adult in their corner.

The results speak quietly but clearly: 72% of our graduates have enrolled in higher education or vocational training. But the numbers we care most about are harder to measure — a teenager who starts making eye contact again, a young person who calls their mentor before making a big decision.

Program Three

Housing Bridge

Keeping families in their homes while they find their footing.

An eviction doesn't just cost a family their apartment — it costs kids their school, parents their commute, and everyone their sense of stability. Housing Bridge provides short-term rental assistance, landlord mediation, and transition support to families facing housing instability.

We work directly with landlords to negotiate payment plans, connect families with longer-term resources, and provide case management until the household is stable. Last year, 89 families avoided eviction through our program. More importantly, 78% remained stably housed twelve months after completing the program.

Program Four

Emergency Response

When crisis strikes, we mobilize within 24 hours.

Fires, floods, severe storms, and other emergencies don't announce themselves. Our Emergency Response team maintains a network of trained volunteers, pre-positioned supplies, and partnerships with local emergency services to respond quickly when disaster hits.

In 2025, we responded to 14 emergency events — from a January ice storm that left 200 families without heat to an apartment fire that displaced 12 families overnight. Within 24 hours of each event, we had shelter, meals, and essential supplies on site.

Every Program Runs on People Like You

Ninety-one cents of every dollar goes directly to these programs. A $50 donation feeds a family for a week. A $200 donation covers one month of rental assistance. But the most valuable thing you can give is your time.
